bored, annoyed, and alone

If I just talked to you,
that means it’s been six months
since I first met you;
I don’t trust new people.

Yes, I’ll entertain the crowd
because I love your attention,
but I don’t want to know you:
you’re boring and annoying,
like the rest of them.

You bore me.
I’m bored.
You bother me.
I’m annoyed.

So, it’s best not kill the facade
that I’ve created to pretend you’re
I’d rather be alone.

I overestimate my value and worth,
which leads to one selfish decision
after another … and I don’t care.

We’ve made it to that moment:
It’s time to forget about you;
disregard you;
you no longer exist.

  1. I wish he didn’t exist. I wish I didn’t care. I wish I was numb and cold and unfeeling. I wish I could be as unrelentingly harsh as you are to me. I wish you loved me I wish you’d care and want to fight for me. I wish you’d be mad and pound the gound with your fist wishing it was so…but it is….what it is. I wish I knew what that was. I wish I didn’t know it was nothing.
