putting it together; lunch with two white girls series; the next chapter

i’m tearing it all apart
in order to provide order;
can’t you see?

they might be disposable
like garbage
and mechanical like a
garbage disposable
but
they’re
my
trash;
can’t you see?

you both are acting incredibly frosty;
salty drops drip down my cheeks;
this cry has been building for fucking weeks;
can’t you see?

lunch on downtime;
drinks at nighttime;
sobbing all the time;
‘ev game ‘bout to shine;
can’t you see?

i may have killed myself by now;
but you kept me sane,
in moments of despair;
can’t you see?

believe me, believe me, believe me;
the series does not end here,
the lunches do not stop here,
this book is a page-turner;
can’t you see?

so be it, say you;
i see it, say me;
open your eyes,
so that you too can see;
please; won’t you see?
